Overview
The Emotional Intelligence Self Assessment is designed to give an accurate
measurement of Emotional Intelligence (EQ). This test measures skills and
abilities in four quadrants of Emotional Intelligence:
While there are a number of different theories, modalities and definitions
surrounding Emotional Intelligence, these four quadrants, popularized by
Daniel Goleman, are becoming the industry standard. In addition, this
instrument included 20 subgroups within these four main quadrants. The 20
subgroups will provide additional detail in terms of an EQ score and allow
for more targeted improvement efforts. Unlike IQ, EQ can be improved, and
the results of this assessment will provide a baseline from which to begin
this process.
